S&G 2890C is the first and only product that meets the requirements outlined in Federal Specification FF-L-2890C. Model 2890C is available in ten configurations on a modular platform, making it easy to standardize installation in government and commercial facilities. The Sargent and Greenleaf 2890 has a three-hour fire rating and five-year warranty when used with our 2740B lock.
S&G 2740B Combination Lock
The Sargent & Greenleaf Model 2740B has passed all the rigorous tests spelled out in Federal Specification FF-L-2740B, and has been placed on the Federal Qualified Products List (QPL), having been deemed appropriate for safes, security files, vault doors, and similar items; and intended for the protection of national security information.
By eliminating the need for cables outside the safe, the S&G 2740B represents a significant step forward in both innovation and security. Engineered and manufactured to meet the highest security standards of the U.S. Government, the S&G 2740B provides instant, reliable power up. And because the S&G 2740B is powered by common lithium power cells, with a projected life of 10+ years, you simply replace the batteries to extend the lock’s life, rather than replace the entire mechanism. S&G will even provide the batteries for free. The result is both enhanced long-term security and lower cost of ownership.
S&G 2890B Pedestrian SCIF Door Lock
The S&G 2890B SCIF-Lock represents the latest design advances to produce a single motion egress door lock for the highest level of security, and is the first and only hardware currently designed to FF-L-2890B federal specifications to include a UL 3-Hour Fire rating and the required ANSI/BHMA ratings. The S&G 2890B is intended to meet both the stringent needs of NFPA 101 life safety and high-security requirements for government applications. The lock is designed for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) applications for U.S. military, fusion centers, defense contractors and others.
